ORA Advanced Technology × Line Investments: EV Charging & E-Mobility Infrastructure Program
ORA Advanced Technology × Line Investments: EV Charging & E-Mobility Infrastructure Program
ORA Advanced Technology, in collaboration with Line Investments, is developing and deploying a next-generation EV charging network and e-mobility infrastructure aligned with the UAE’s national agenda for sustainable transport. This partnership combines ORA’s expertise in designing, implementing, and operating advanced charging systems with Line Investments’ destination leadership and high-impact retail ecosystems, ensuring that EV infrastructure is deployed where people live, shop, and move every day.
The initiative launched in Abu Dhabi as a priority phase and will expand across other Emirates through 2026, creating a scalable and future-ready foundation for nationwide electrified mobility.
Supporting UAE National Targets
This program directly contributes to major national and emirate-level goals, including:
- Expanding EV charging infrastructure across the UAE, supporting the national target of 10,000 EV charging stations by 2030.
- Accelerating EV adoption, aligned with the UAE National EV Policy ambition for 50% of vehicles on UAE roads to be electric or hybrid by 2050.
- Public-sector and nationwide electrification by 2030, supporting targets to reach 30% electric/hybrid public-sector vehicles and 10% of all vehicles on the road electric/hybrid by 2030.
- Abu Dhabi’s rapid charging scale-up, aligned with the emirate’s ambition to install up to 70,000 charge points by 2030 through major initiatives.
Together, ORA Advanced Technology and Line Investments are helping translate these targets into visible, day-to-day infrastructure that enables adoption at scale.
Serving EV Riders and Fleet Electrification
The network is designed to support:
- Private EV riders, enabling convenient charging during daily routines, and
- Public transportation and taxi operators, helping accelerate the electrification of transportation fleets across the UAE.
This dual-segment approach strengthens national adoption from both ends: individual drivers and large fleet ecosystems. Through the ORA ft. Line Investments collaboration, this initiative is delivering more than charging points, it is building the national charging backbone required for the UAE’s transition to clean mobility. By starting in Abu Dhabi and scaling across Emirates through 2026, the program supports the UAE’s long-term sustainability commitments and positions the country as a regional benchmark for e-mobility readiness.
