ORA Advanced Technology is proud to partner with KABI, a company of Al Ghurair Investment Group and one of Dubai’s largest taxi operators, to operate and optimize a high-performance EV charging ecosystem for one of the UAE’s most advanced electric taxi fleets. KABI is a major mobility player in Dubai with a fleet of 3,680 taxis, operating at the center of the emirate’s smart-transport growth.
Under this collaboration, ORA Advanced Technology is responsible for designing, operating, and dynamically managing the charging solutions that power KABI’s EV taxi operations, ensuring fleet readiness, uptime, and seamless daily service continuity.
Rapid Fleet Electrification: 70 → 300 EV Taxis in Less Than One Year
In under one year of operations, the ORA–KABI program has expanded the active EV taxi fleet from 70 to 300 vehicles, a milestone that demonstrates how the right charging strategy can remove one of the biggest barriers to fleet electrification: charging availability and operational reliability.
This rapid scale-up supports a shared national mission with KABI, proving that EV taxi fleets can grow quickly when charging facilities are intelligently orchestrated, fast, and dependable.

Dubai is globally recognized for moving fast on clean mobility and e-transport transformation. This project directly supports that momentum, aligned with:
- Dubai RTA’s strategy to convert 100% of taxis and limousines to electric/hydrogen by 2040, reinforcing full zero-emission public mobility
- Dubai Taxi Company’s acceleration of EV adoption, with hundreds of EV taxis already in operation and continued expansion underway.
- Dedicated fast-charging buildout for taxi electrification, including Dubai’s rollout of 208 ultra-fast charging stations for taxis to support fleet scale-up.
Dubai’s example shows that scaling EV fleets isn’t only about vehicles, it’s about charging ecosystems that keep fleets moving.
